Message: There was a scholar who was to marry his fiancee, but on the dayof marriage, his fiancee changed her mind and married someone else. Thescholar was devastated and fell ill. His family seek all kinds of medical treatment for him, but still he showed no sign of recovery.

They were about to give up hope on him when a wandering monk passed by.After learning aboutthe scholar's condition, the monk walked to the scholar's bed and took out a mirror for the dyingman to see.

In the mirror, the scholar saw a vast ocean, and the naked body of amurdered woman lay on thebeach. A man passed by, looked at the body, shook his head and left.Another man who passedby saw the body, took off his robes to cover the body and left.

Finally came a man passing by who saw the body, dug a hole and laid thebody carefully to restbefore burying it. The scene in the mirror suddenly changed. The scholar saw his fiancee in a nuptialchamber and another man was lifting her wedding veil... The scholar blinkedat the monk, confused.

Slowly the monk explained, "The woman whose body you saw on the beach was your fiancee in herprevious life. In your previous life, you were the second man who gave herhis robes to cover herbody. To repay your kindness in this lifetime, she loved you for a periodof time and became your fiancee.

However, ultimately the man whose favor she has to return for the rest ofher life is the third man whoburied her. And that man is now her husband."

Enlightened, the scholar sat up and recovered from his dispression. It is truly amazing -- this thingcalled "Fate".

Fate is not something meant to be forced upon. What is yours willeventually come to your arms;what is not yours will never come to be.

In any case, we should not lose heart and give up on our hopes for love that is true, good andbeautiful. The value of life, in a certain sense, is determined by thematurity of how we love. Of howwe give and accept love.

Who you want to meet: At the end of the day, it is not how much money he/she make, the kind of carhe/she drive, the label wear, the size of their house or how many pats onthe back you received at the office. At the end of the day, it is about going home to find someone waiting eagerly for you with a smileto steal your heart, and a hug to make your day.At the end of the day, it is not about physical beauty because beauty wil lfade. It is not about the tattoo you have on your body because it will go out of fashion. It is not about the boundless energybecause energy levels will dip with age.

At the end of the day, it is about how you will pull yourself together tomeet every obstacle along theway. It is about every sacrifice you make in order to be together. It is about how you forgive someonefor the mistakes he or she makes. It is about getting back together aftersome misunderstandings because life is not a bed of roses all the time.

haix..wts meant to be is meant to be~
